Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate floor surface cleaning and provide facilities for visually handicapped persons by connecting a water feed pipe to an inlet at the upper end of a valve and connecting a water feed pipe on the side of a toilet bowl to the lower end of the valve in such a manner that the pipes are arranged vertically along the wall surface of a toilet room.
CONSTITUTION: A vertical flush valve 8 wherein an inlet 4, impeller 5 for sensing flow quantity of water, main valve portion 6, and outlet 7 are disposed approximately concentrically is provided. And a water feed pipe 1 and a toilet side water feed pipe 2 are connected to the inlet 4 and the outlet 7 respectively, which are arranged in a straight line on the wall of a toilet room so as to be used as a vertical guide pole 10a for visually handicapped persons. Next, a horizontal guide pole 10b is secured to the pole 10a at right angles to the pole 10a. Further a paper holder 11 and the like is mounted to the pole 10b. As a result, the space efficiency in the toilet room can be improved and the floor surface can be cleaned easily and the location of a toilet bowl can be precisely recognized by visually handicapped persons.
