PURPOSE: To improve grinding efficiency and production efficiency by providing an approximately annular dam ring which can move vertically and radially and can freely expand and contrast atop the outermost periphery of a turn table.
CONSTITUTION: The turn table 3 which is so pivotally mounted as to approximately level the front surface and is rotationally driven around the perpendicular axial center by a driving device and a grinding roller 4 which is slid and disposed on the turn table 3 are provided. The approximately annular dam ring 70 is disposed freely vertically and radially slidably atop the outermost periphery of the table 3. Plural pieces of any of hydraulic cylinders 50, pneumatic cylinders and motor operated cylinder 72 are disposed below the ring 70 as the vertical and radial sliding means of the ring 70 and are connected to the ring 70. Further, a driving power supply piping or electric power wiring to the above- mentioned vertical sliding means and radial sliding means is connected via a rotary joint 50d to a fixed piping 60 above or below the axial line of the table 3 or is connected via a slider to the fixed wiring.
