PURPOSE: To provide a vertical impact crusher where capable of prolonging the service life of an anvil by preventing the local wear with respect to the vertical direction of the anvil.

CONSTITUTION: A rotor 2 of a vertical impact crusher is provided with, for example, three rotor outlets 6 for discharging a raw material charged to the rotor 2 from a feed port 10. A distributor 1 having inclined surfaces 4a-4c differing in inclined angles and height positions is installed below the feed port 10 in the rotor 2. Therefore, the trajectories of the raw material guided by each of the inclined surfaces 4a-4c and discharged from each rotor outlet 6 are different from each other in the positions and in the vertical directions, as shown by the two-dot chain line, broken line and full line. Since the discharged raw material strikes on an anvil 7 in a wide range in the vertical direction, local, and concentrated wear such as a wear locus as shown by a curve Q1 of a two-dot chain line is not caused. As a result, the long service life of the anvil is attained.
