A rotating endless wire 5 for the lift, which is laid between pulleys arranged on upper and lower floors across a plurality floors of a building, a plurality of load supporting platforms 6, which are fixed at intervals to the endless wire for the lift, and the pulley 3 on the upper floor are suspended via a height adjusting angle by a lift trestle; the pulley 4 on the lower floor is supported on a lift base 9 with a slab fixing implement; a drive unit 10 for rotatively driving the pulley on the lower floor is provided on the lift base; and switches 13 and 14 for driving the vertical movement drive unit are provided on the lift trestle and the lift base, respectively. The vertical lift 1 for unloading the strong support makes the drive unit 10 driven only when both the upper and lower switches are pushed to a driving side.
