To provide a vertical loading testing method of the directly under ground confirming availability of the directly under ground of a structure without pulling down a foundation of the existing structure.
A part of a foundation slab coming into contact with the ground surface of the existing structure is separated from the peripheral part in a predetermined size and shape to form a loading slab. A loading testing jack together with a load meter and a displacement meter are installed on the loading slab in an approximately vertical posture to have such a constitution that loading test reaction force is taken in a beam of the existing structure or a slab, and the jack is driven to perform a loading test. After the completion of the loading test, the loading slab is removed to restore the foundation slab, alternatively the loading slab is again combined with the foundation slab to restore the foundation slab.
