Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical propulsion unit for lifting a square and azimuth thruster on a deck, and using natural energy as a power source, by equipping a ballast tank of floating by vessel speed water flow pressure.SOLUTION: The vertical propulsion unit comprises a folding-up screw pod equipment F of an aperture stored in a female-male column pipe frames and a water jet propulsion equipment K of a turbo-shaft engine L, and is formed as a structure for sucking the surplus air volume by a stern tank water intake port, by jetting by a very small valve to s groove frame in the stern direction of a ship bottom surface, by conducting the high output jet air volume to ballast tank equipment, and in propulsion of an electric motor, electric power by a wave height, float power generation of surging, onboard wind power generation and water flow power generation, this hydraulic power and electric power, are used as actuation power of a propulsion power generation cylinder engine, and output of a pair of generators is increased, and increased electric power is used as a power source of the vertical propulsion unit, to aim at fuel consumption-saving from a low speed ship.
