Abstract:
To provide a vertical shaft type power generator that is advantageous in improving durability.SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 16 is rotatably supported by a first rotary shaft supporting portion 22 at a place above a first supporting portion 20, and an upper end of the rotary shaft 16 is rotatably supported by a second rotary shaft supporting portion 24 at a place above the first rotary shaft supporting portion 22. A thrust load applied on the rotary shaft 16 is supported by the second rotary shaft supporting portion 24. Both of a thrust load and a radial load applied on the rotary shaft 16 are supported by the first rotary shaft supporting portion 22 and the second rotary shaft supporting portion 24, a load added from a lower end of the rotary shaft 16 to a generator body 1402 is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
