Abstract:
To provide a vertically-stacked condensation evaporator capable of shortening the start-up time without excessively increasing the equipment cost.SOLUTION: A vertically-stacked condensation evaporator 40 includes: a cylindrical container 41 having a cylindrical barrel portion 41A; one or more partition plates 114, 124 that vertically partition the space inside the barrel portion 41A; and a plurality of heat exchange blocks 100, 200, 300. The heat exchange blocks 100, 200, 300 are arranged respectively in a plurality of vertically-disposed chambers 110, 120, 130 that are partitioned by the partition plates 114 and 124. An inner peripheral surface 41a of the barrel portion 41A and peripheral end portions of the partition plates 114 and 124 are joined over an inner peripheral surface 41a intersecting a first plane perpendicular to the central axis of the barrel portion 41A, and at least one partition plate 114 is curved with respect to the first plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
