PURPOSE: To provide a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft of higher performance and better fuel consumption than the conventional vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
CONSTITUTION: Jet engine supporters for parallelly mounting two jet engines are provided. A main wing supporter connecting hole which is a cylindrical cavity is provided in a central part of this jet engine supporter. A main wing supporter is provided in a manner inserted through this hole, to position a main wing in a point end part of the main wing supporter. At the time of vertical takeoff and landing, the jet engine supporter is positioned so that the jet engine is placed vertical relating to a horizontal surface. As a result, a fuselage of this aircraft obtains thrust such as capable of vertically taking off and landing. At normal flight time, the jet engine supporter is positioned so as to place the jet engine in parallel to the horizontal surface. As a result, the fuselage of this aircraft obtains thrust capable of performing normal flight.
