Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type mill by which excessively pulverized state can be surely avoided by simple control necessitating no complicated work for determining initialization values and stable operation can be executed without being influenced by properties of a raw material.
SOLUTION: Pressure gradient Δp/L which is given by dividing pressure difference ΔP(=P3-P4) inside the mill between an above point and a below point at a region near an entrance part of a rotary classifier 3 by a distance L is detected above a throat 11. Based on a detected value of the pressure gradient, revolution speed of the rotary classifier 3 is corrected. That is, when increase of the pressure gradient is detected, correction such as temporary lowering of the revolution of the rotary classifier 3 is executed to return the rotary classifier 3 to a normal operational state. Thereby, a fear that overload operational state shifts to an excessively pulverizing state is eliminated and stable operation of the vertical type mill can be performed easily.
