Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type washing and drying machine which effectively washes down dust remaining in a circulation air passage and which suppresses deterioration of drying performance.SOLUTION: A vertical type washing and drying machine includes: an outer tub supported in an outer frame; a washing and dewatering tub rotatably installed in the outer tub and accommodating laundry; blower means supported by the outer frame and supplying air from an upper part of the outer tub to the washing and dewatering tub; and a dehumidification duct extending from an exhaust port below the outer tub to the upper part of the outer tub and dehumidifying air and sending it to the blower means. The dehumidification duct is formed integrally with the outer tub, a bellows pipe is provided for communicating the dehumidification duct with the blower means, and cleaning means for spraying water toward the bellows pipe is provided at the dehumidification duct.
