Abstract:
To provide a vertical type wind power generation system that generates electric power over a wind velocity range from a gentle wind range to a strong wind range to have high electric power generation efficiency, achieves safety, silence, and miniaturization of a facility, and also has mechanism components and a generator made tolerant to wind pressure and rotary energy to have superior economical efficiency.SOLUTION: A vertical type wind power generation system has a vertical blade which consists of a rotary shaft 2, a plurality of linear blades 3, an arm 4 retaining the linear blades on the rotary shaft, and an elevation angle adjusting mechanism 5 capable of varying a fitting angle of the linear blades to the arm or an elevation angle to a relative wind velocity. The vertical type wind power generation system is configured to adjust the elevation angle of the linear blades to the relative wind velocity or the fitting angle to the arm by the elevation angle adjusting mechanism, in respective wind velocity ranges from gentle wind to strong wind, according to a wind velocity, a wind direction, a rotation angle of the vertical blade, a rotating velocity of the vertical blade, a diameter of the vertical blade, a cross-sectional shape of the linear blades, a chord length of the linear blades, and the number of the linear blades, wherein the elevation angle adjusting mechanism 5 and a blade diameter varying mechanism 13 are used to make the adjustments in each of the respective wind velocity ranges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
