PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical-type cultivation apparatus with ultrasonic atomization, the apparatus comprising a vertically supported cultivating pipe by which more mist stays in balance around the root hair, and, after the mist is absorbed from the root hair, it naturally withdraws from the surroundings of the root hair.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a cultivation apparatus 100 with ultrasonic atomization, the apparatus comprises: an ultrasonic atomizer 103 having an atomizing liquid tank for storing a liquid fertilizer, an ultrasonic vibrator for atomizing the liquid fertilizer by ultrasonic vibration, and an oscillator for vibrating the ultrasonic vibrator, and supplying the generated mist to the interior of a cultivation pipe 101 from a mist introduction port 120 disposed in the cultivation pipe 101. Here, the lower end of a seedling-holding portion is positioned higher than the lower end of an opening portion, The cross-sectional area of the retention portion 142, which is the inner space of a main body portion, is larger the closer it is located to the side communicating with the inside of the cultivation tube 101, and is smaller the closer it is located to side communicating with the seedling holding portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
