PURPOSE: To provide a pedestal for plant culture vessel, capable of being readily produced for oneself by anyone without requiring a special technique only by assembling members made of wood.

CONSTITUTION: A specification wood used in the two-by-four construction method is used for the main components and cut into a prescribed length. An engagement cut is made in the middle part of each cut piece and a pair of these wood pieces are engaged and fixed to each other so as to face the engagement cuts to each other. A leg member 1.1 and a shelf holder member 3.3 respectively having a cross shape when viewed from the above are respectively formed thereby. The leg member 1.1 is fixed to the lower end part of a pair of pillar members 2.2 respectively cut into a prescribed length and the shelf holder member 3.3 is fixed to the upper end part in the same manner. Upper shelf plates 5.5 are fixed to the upper surface side of the shelf holder member and the lower shelf plate 4 is fixed to the lower side.
