To provide a parking device allowing cages having large and small widths to exist in a mixed manner simply, without changing the basic design of a conventional parking device provided with only cages having the same shapes and dimensions.

This vertically circulating type parking device has the cage 4 having large width and the cage 5 having small width provided with a pallet for loading on a vehicle, respectively, an endless main chain 9 suspending and holding these cages 4, 5 to circulate them vertically, a lower roller 20 to be guided installed on sides of the cages 4, 5, and a guide rail extended in the vertical direction on both of right and left sides of the cages 4, 5 to guide vertical circulation of the cages 4, 5 in contact with the lower roller 20. The guide rail includes a first guide rail 18 coming close to the cage 4 having large width to guide it and a second guide rail 19 coming close to the cage 5 having small width to guide it. A cut-out section 21 for preventing the interference with the second guide rail 19 is formed on the pallet 14 of the cage 4 having large width.
