An exhibition case 2 comprises a base box 1 comprising an upper opening 10, an exhibition case 2 mounted in the upper opening 10, a case elevator mechanism 4 for moving the exhibition case 2 between an upper portion and the interior of the base box 1, and a crime prevention cover 3 for lowering the exhibition case 2 in the base box 1 and covering the upper opening 10 in such manner that it can be opened and closed. The case elevator mechanism 4 comprises a screw driving-type moving device 7 having a rotatable screw rod and a nut and vertically mounted on an inner wall of the base box 1, an case elevation base 40 which is supported by the nuts and on which the exhibition case 2 is mounted, and a driving mechanism comprising a servomotor 41 and a transmitting means. Two screw driving-type moving devices 7 are respectively mounted on both sides of the base box 1, that is, four in total, and the springs for upwardly energizing the nuts are mounted.
