Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectifying system which uses a structure packing having a higher capacity and higher mechanical strength than those of a conventional structure packing for a rectifying system.
SOLUTION: There are included a plurality of first packing sheets 100 having a deformed portion at a bottom position and a second packing sheet 101 having a deformed portion at a top position. Each deformed portion is formed by reducing the height of corrugation of the structure packing. Each packing sheet is formed by flattening alternating small regions of the bottom portion or the top portion of each packing sheet.
