Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control the moisture of a cultivation medium by disposing a moisture sensor and a temperature sensor in the upper portion of a mushroom- cultivation vessel and regulating a water sprinkler on the sensed results.

CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor 41 and a moisture sensor 40 are disposed in a mushroom cultivation vessel 36. These sensors 40 and 41 are embedded between a compost 38 and a soil cover 37. When the moisture sensor 40 detects a moisture of ≤ a prescribed value or the temperature sensor 41 detects a temperature of ≥ a prescribed value, a water supplying valve 26 is opened and the sprinkling of water is begun. When the moisture or temperature becomes adequate, the water supplying valve 26 is closed. Thus, the drying of the medium is automatically prevented.
