To provide a vessel which has sealing property at the same level as that in a conventional vessel having sealing property when a cover is used without putting a part of spoons, forks, chopsticks or brushes into the vessel, and which can keep a certain level of sealing property even if the cover is used while a part of spoons or the like in put into the vessel.
The vessel having sealing property comprises a vessel body of which the edge has no notch and of which the top is almost horizontal over the circumference, and a cover almost contacting with the body. In the vessel, a shielding part filling right and left gaps formed at the time of capping vessel while putting a part of spoons or the like into the vessel is vertically provided integrally with a side wall part of the cover, and a reentrant holding part holding a spoon or the like by the shielding part is formed.
