Abstract:
To provide a jet propelling drive device of a good efficiency for a vessel.
A vessel and a jet propelling device for it attached in the cantilever form to a stern beam 14 of vessel 10 has a water tunnel or cavity 16 formed in a single piece with the vessel structure as its part. A turbo jet pump assembly 24 is installed in cantilever form in the stern part of the stern beam 14, and a drive shaft 48 is connected with the output part 38 of a vessel drive engine. For example, a mounting member 30 installed between the stern beam 14 and drive engine serves as an exhaust manifold housing.
