Abstract:

To provide a vessel mooring facility capable of enhancing the space efficiency with no risk of forming an obstacle to vessel coming in and going out to/from the mooring position and making following-up after a change of the water surface.

The vessel mooring facility 20 includes a mooring beam 21 composed of a beam 21A and a float 21B and set so as to be afloat in such a way that the upper part of the float 21B is protrusive to over the water surface and the beam 21A is positioned at a specified depth, wherein the sideways movement of the mooring beam 21 is restricted but vertical motions are admitted in followup after the displacement of the water surface by a bunch of installation cables 22 comprised of a plurality of installation ropes 22A whose base end each is coupled with an anchor 23 fixed to the water bottom while other end is coupled with the bottom of the float 21B through a tension damper 22B, and the vessel is moored to the beam 21 through a stern side mooring rope 14.
