Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a vessel sealing method by which a vessel can be sealed without dislocating a relative position between an anode board and a cathode board.
CONSTITUTION: Sealing glass 4 is arranged in a peripheral edge part of one board 1 (2) of glass, and the other board 2 (1) is placed from above it. A relative position between a cathode board 2 and an anode board l is positioned, and a laser beam 12 is irradiated to the sealing glass 4 from above the anode board 1, and is locally melted, and the cathode board 2 and the anode board 1 are temporarily fastened together. A glass vessel 30 composed of these temporarily fastened cathode board 2 and anode board 1 is carried in a sealing furnace, and the cathode board 2 and the anode board 1 are sealed.
