To provide a vessel reducing air resistance without changing a structure of a main vessel body.
The vessel 1 is constituted such that it has the main vessel body 2 partitioned by a vessel outer wall 2a and a deck 2b; and an upper structure 3 provided on the deck 2b. A wind prevention fence 6 is provided on an upper part of the side of the main vessel body 2 at a position apart from a bow N on the bow N side from the upper structure 3. The wind prevention fence 6 is constituted such that it is continuously provided at the upper end of the vessel outer wall and stands from a position apart from the bow N and its height is gradually increased as it goes to a stern. A surface directed to the outside of the main vessel body 2 in the wind prevention fence 6 is made to a slant surface where an upper end is positioned on the upper structure 3 side from a lower end. The wind prevention fence 6 is constituted such that it has an opening.
