Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow passengers to get on a tender boat safely and easily by providing both a housing and a lifting device for the tender boat to a recess which is projected out of the broadside together with the provision of a trans shipping deck for passengers. CONSTITUTION:A recess 4 in a tunnel form which has a deck 5 at the same level as that of the upper deck 2 while being projected out of the upper deck 2, is provided, on the broadside 1a of a vessel 1 so as to house a tender boat 3 in. And a winch 8 is provided at the ceiling 4a of the recess 4 so as to lift up or lower down the tender boat allowing the tender boat to be housed in an opening 6 which is formed on a transshipping deck 5 to accommodate the tender boat 3 as required. This configuration enables passengers to get on the tender boat safely and easily by means of the transshipping deck 5 attached to the recess 4.
