Title:
VIBRATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57116231
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve durability by means of a simple structure, by constituting the device such that rotation of a motor is converted into movement in a horizontal direction of a coupling arm through an eccentric cam, and a bearing is placed between the coupling arm and the cam.

CONSTITUTION: Rotation of a motor 2 is transmitted to a rotary shaft 6 through pulleys 3, 4 and a belt 5, and this causes turning of an eccentric cam 8. As a result, a coupling arm 7 moves in a horizontal direction via a bearing surrounding the cam 8, and the movement is transferred to a vibration table 1 from a shaft 10 via a bearing 11 at the other end of the coupling arm 7. A bearing 12, attached to the vibration table 1, slides over a guide shaft 13, and this causes it to be constrained so that the vertial movement, produced resulting from the eccentric motion of the cam, is not exerted on the vibration table 1. As noted, the bearings 9 and 11 are placed at the opposite ends of the coupling arm 7 to excite the vibration table 1, and this constitution causes reducing of a friction force to the minimum and improving of durability.
