Title:
VIBRATING DRUM FOR SHAKE-OUT OF CASTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3087472
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of an equipment by mounting a shock member having a shock plate part extending in the vertical direction along the center of axis of a vibrating drum body.
CONSTITUTION: A vibrating drum for shake-out of a casting is formed by mounting an exciter on the circumferential wall part of a drum body 2 supported on the ground by vibration proof springs 7a, 7b. A shock member 22 having a shock plate part 22a which is located on either side of the lowerest wall part of the inner circumferential wall in the vicinity of a discharge end of the drum body 2 and extends in the vertical direction along the center of axis of the vibrating drum body 2 is mounted. The exciter generates the exciting force in the circular manner by the rotation of an unbalanced weight, and the exciter is mounted so that the angle made by the line connecting the center of the exciting force and the center of axis of the vibrating drum in the vertical manner to the horizontal line may be 0-90 degrees at the upper position from the center of axis. This constitution dispenses with the separate installation of a sand aggregate crushing device.
