Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a vibrating drum by which amplitude at each part is reduced little even in a loading condition and wholly, the circulating movement of a casting to be pulled down from molding sand is promoted and the treating quantity of materials, e.g. the castings to be pulled down from the molding sand is increased.
CONSTITUTION: A circular excitor 130 is fixed to the peripheral part of the drum body 2 so that the angle of straight line connecting the center of circular exciting force generated with the rotation of imbalanced weights 30a, 30b, 136a, 136b and the axial center of the drum body 2 to the horizontal line becomes about 25° and the exciting force becomes larger at the material charging hole side.
