Title:
VIBRATING GYRO
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04361113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To bring about invariably-stable self-excited vibration of a vibrator and also to enable highly-precise detection of an angular velocity. CONSTITUTION:One piezoelectric element 21 is stuck on one side of a vibrating body 1 having a polygonal section, while at least an electrode of this piezoelectric element 21 is divided in two in the width direction of the vibrating body 1, so as to construct a vibrator 6. Divided electrodes 21a and 21b of this vibrator 6 are connected to one driving means 7 through impedance elements Z1 and Z2 respectively, and herein the sum of the respective outputs of connecting parts 23 and 24 of the divided electrodes 21a and 21b and the impedance elements Z1 and Z2 is fed back to the driving means 7 differentially with an AC reference voltage, while outputs of the divided electrodes 21a and 21b are taken out differentially with each other.
