To provide a vibrating roller having a simple structure, excellent portability, excellent operability and resin impregnability and capable of easily assuring a vibration up to a sufficiently large amplitude, and a method for efficiently hand lay-up molding using the same.

The vibrating roller impregnates a fiber-reinforced base material with a resin. The roller comprises a motor, a cylindrical vibrating member fixed to the motor, an eccentric weight coupled to a rotational shaft of the motor and contacted at its outer peripheral surface with an inner peripheral surface of the vibrating member, and a roll ring rotatably supported to the outer peripheral surface of the vibrating member. The method for hand lay-up molding uses the vibrating roller.
