Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to achieve the vibrating deformation by earthquake acceleration and the addition of a high-speed load by supporting a table, whose movement and rotation in the horizontal direction with respect to an exciting table are constrained and movement in the vertical direction is possible, by the exciting table.
SOLUTION: On an exciting table 4, a table 8 is supported whose movement and rotation in the horizontal direction are constrained and whose movement in the vertical direction is made possible by bearings 9a-9d. Since the movement of the table 4 other than the vertical direction is constrained and the dead weight is supported by the exciting table, vibrating deformation can be generated in a body under test 5 by the excitation by the exciting table 4. Furthermore, a high-speed load can be applied in the vertical direction by an exciting device 10. Since the table is not constrained in the vertical direction, however, the excessive load is not applied to exciting devices 2a-2c and the bearings 3a-3c, and the high-speed load can be applied smoothly to the body under test 5.
