The vibration absorbing device to absorb vibrations fed from a road surface is structured so that an electric motor 12 for driving the vehicle is suspended on the side with a top plate 21b of a sub-frame 21 through a shock absorber 22 when a geared motor 11 equipped with the electric motor 12 and a reduction gear 14 of epicyclic type etc. accommodated in a gear case 13 is to be installed on the vehicle body and that the gear case 13 is suspended by the shock absorber 22 from both sides of the bottom plate 21a and top plate 21b of the sub-frame 21, in which the geared motor 11 is accommodated in the sub-frame 21 while the sub-frame 21 is mounted on the vehicle body, whereby the vibrations fed from the road surface are absorbed by the geared motor 11 and the shock absorber 22.
