To provide a vibration absorbing device improved in vibration absorbing effects during idling input, also improved in durability, and makes less booming noises during acceleration input, by reducing a dynamic spring constant in a suspending direction.
When an engine is suspended and supported, a first gap is formed between an intermediate rubber member 4 and a body rubber member 3. So, the dynamic spring constant is reduced in the suspending direction to improve vibration absorbing effects during idling input. On the other hand, in great displacement exceeding the first gap, the body rubber member 3 and the intermediate rubber member 4 are both deformed to suppress the distortion of the body rubber member 3 and improve the durability thereof. Besides, in lateral displacement of an insertion-through member 5 during acceleration input, the sudden rise of the dynamic spring constant is avoided by increasing the thickness size in the displacing direction by an equivalent for the intermediate rubber member 4 to suppress the occurrence of booming noises.
