Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the control of several types of vibrations having different directions and frequencies by using a single shock absorbing device in which a cavity is formed in a rubber elastic material in 180 deg. rotational symmetry about the center shaft of its core material. CONSTITUTION:There is a rubber elastic material 4 vulcanized and stuck between a cylindrical core material 1 and its concentric heavy cylinder 2 of large wall thickness. Cavities 5 are formed in the said rubber elastic material 4 in 180 deg. rotational symmetry about a center shaft running through the center of the cylindrical core material 1, in order to control several types of vibrations having different directions and frequencies.
