Title:
VIBRATION-BASED POWER GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011199916
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vibration-based power generator in which the induced electromotive force generated thereby can be increased and the leakage magnetic field produced from the ends of a moving element can be reduced.

The vibration-based power generator includes: a cylindrical member that is provided inside a cylindrical casing and that is made of a non-magnetic material; a coil arranged along the cylindrical member; and a moving element that is provided inside the cylindrical member in a manner such that the moving element can move back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical member, and that has a first permanent magnet and second permanent magnets, each second permanent magnet being arranged in a manner such that the magnetic pole thereof and the magnetic pole of the first permanent magnet facing one another have the same polarity. In the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical member, the second permanent magnet is shorter in length than the first permanent magnet. In the transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical member, the length of the end of the second permanent magnet on the opposite side from the side facing the first permanent magnet is shorter than the length of the end of the first permanent magnet on the side facing the second permanent magnet.
