Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive vibration control device for a columnar structure high in work efficiency.

The vibration control device for the columnar structure is provided with a lower columnar structure band 3 mounted to a foundation ground side of the columnar structure 1; an upper columnar structure band 4 mounted to a desired height of the columnar structure 1; a plate body comprising a center plate 7 having a viscoelastic body arranged corresponding to the columnar structure 1, and side plates 8, 9 holding the center plate 7 between them. The center plate 7 is fixed by one of the lower columnar structure band 3 and the upper columnar structure band 4, and the side plates 8, 9 holding the center plate 7 between them are fixed by one of the upper columnar structure band 4 and the lower columnar structure band 3 through an ear plate 10.
