The vibration control device for the floor is composed of a housing 1 which is provided with an internal space 13, formed of a rigid material and fixed to a floor covering material, two mass members 2 and 2 which are housed for arrangement in the internal space 13 of the housing 1 in a vertically movable manner, and elastic bodies 3 and 3 made of rubber, which are fixed respectively to surfaces of the mass members 2 and 2. When the vibrations are generated, the mass members 2 and 2 arranged inside the housing 1 are moved vertically by the vibrations transmitted to the housing 1, so as to come into collision with a ceiling wall (a platy member 12) and a bottom wall 11a via the elastic bodies 3 and 3.
