Abstract:
To provide a vibration control device for a railway vehicle which determines a false wiring of cable connected to a damping force adjustment type buffer and suppresses controlling the damping force in a state with a false wiring.SOLUTION: Buffers 11A-11D are connected to a control device 22 through cables 20. The control device 22 controls the buffers 11A-11D. In each of the buffers 11A-11D, an identification circuit 31 is installed. The identification circuit 31 inputs a signal from the control device 22 and outputs an identification signal from each of the buffers 11A-11D. The control device 22 has a test mode output unit which, during stopping of a vehicle 1, outputs, to each of the buffers 11A-11D, a test mode voltage or a test mode current that is different from that used during usual operation time. The control device 22 has a false wiring determination unit which inputs the identification signal outputted by the identification circuit 31 and determines a false wiring of the cable 20 connected to each of the buffers 11A-11D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
