The vibration control device accommodates a pair of magnets (3), (3) and a magnetizing mass body (4) in a vessel (2) mounted in a vibration-controlled object (1). Their magnetic poles facing each other are made to be the same pole so as to generate repulsion between a pair of magnets (3), (3) and the magnetizing mass body (4). As the vibration of the vibration-controlled object (1) is increased, as a result, vibration control action by movement against the repulsion of the magnetizing mass body (4) can be changed to that by collision of the magnetizing mass body (4) against the magnets (3), (3).
