Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict occurrence of cavitation at a vibration control device provided with two orifices.SOLUTION: A vibration control device 1 comprises: a cylindrical first fixing member 11 and a second fixing member 12; an elastic body 13; and a partition member 17 for defining a liquid chamber 14 within the first fixing member into a major liquid chamber 15 and a sub-liquid chamber 16. The partition member is provided with a membrane 31 forming a part of the partition wall of the major liquid chamber, and an intermediate chamber 35 positioned at an opposite side of the major liquid chamber while holding the membrane to cause the membrane to act as a part of the partition wall. The partition member is formed with: a first orifice 21 communicating the major liquid chamber with the sub-liquid chamber; a second orifice 22 for communicating the intermediate chamber with the sub-liquid chamber; and a common opening 16a acting as an opening of the sub-liquid chamber of each of the first orifice 21 and the second orifice 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
