Abstract:

PURPOSE: To use various kinds of viscoelastic materials having different dynamic characteristics to reduce vibration by arbitrarily setting an amplitude operation amount of a vibration control mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of first bearings 11 and a pair of second bearings 13 are respectively mounted to opposite frame members 2 at proper intervals, first plates 12 mounted to the first bearings 11 in a rotatable manner are opposed to second plates 14 mounted to the second bearings 13 in a rotatable manner with a certain space, and a vibration control mechanism 10 is constituted by holding viscoelastic material M in the space. Two or more kinds of viscoelastic materials having different dynamic characteristics are used for one vibration control mechanism 10, or two or more vibration control mechanisms 10 are installed to use two or more kinds of viscoelastic materials M having different dynamic characteristics. Transformation coefficient B=L/h as a ratio of distance L between the first bearings 11 and second bearings 13 to distance h between a pair of bearings 11 and a pair of bearings 13 is selected in accordance with dynamic characteristics of viscoelastic materials M.
