Abstract:
To reduce the operating cost of an active mass damper.SOLUTION: A vibration control structure is provided with: a first seismic isolation device installed in a structure; a lower mass supported by the first seismic isolation device; a second seismic isolation device provided on the lower mass; an upper mass supported by the second seismic isolation device; first locking means capable of switching between a state in which the lower mass is fixed to the structure and a state in which the fixing is released; second locking means capable of switching between a state in which the upper mass is fixed to the lower mass and a state in which the fixing is released; and driving means, which is provided between the structure and the lower mass, for moving the mass in which the lower mass and the upper mass are integrated in a direction to reduce swinging of the structure, when the state in which the lower mass is fixed to the structure by the first locking means is released, and the upper mass is fixed to the lower mass by the second locking means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
