Abstract:
To provide a vibration control structure which sufficiently holds a function as a stud and a mullion wall, which has excellent vibration control property to repetitive earthquakes while maintaining an indoor design property and habitability, and in which a following installation, exchange, and maintenance are easy.SOLUTION: A friction damper 5 having a rod 51 and a die 52 is arranged in parallel to an installation wall face 6 and horizontally at a position of at least one of an upper end, an intermediate portion, and a lower end of a stud 2 or a mullion wall 3 provided between an upper beam 41 and a lower beam 42 of a building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
