To provide a vibration control wall utilizing a viscous wall damper comprising a planar board type wall container housing a viscous body and a resistant plate inserted into the viscous body of the container.
A receiving flange forming a recess part on the upper end of the resistant plate is provided, an upper attaching beam is fixed on the structure of the upper story, and the lower end of the upper attaching beam is contacted to the recess part of the receiving flange. A shear key is installed between the receiving flange and the upper attaching beam, and connected by a vertically restraining elastic body. The receiving flange forming the recess part is provided in the direction of the wall face of the center part of the lower face on the lower end of the wall container, a lower attaching beam is fixed on the structure of the lower story, the upper end of the lower attaching beam is contacted to the recess part of the receiving flange. The shear key is installed between the receiving flange and the lower attaching beam and connected by a vertically restraining elastic body.
