Title:
ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL VIBRATION CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0530598
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To thin the whole shape, to turn a vibrating direction to a plane direction (direction parallel with the face of an electrical/ mechanical vibration converter) and to obtain strong vibration.

CONSTITUTION: The bent end parts of an approximately C-shaped magnetic substance are arranged in the vicinity of both the ends of a rod-like magnetic substance with fine gaps (d) and opposed to each other on the same plane to thin the shape of an electrical/mechanical vibration converter. Either one of the rod magnetic substance and the C-shaped magnetic substance is fixed to a housing 4, the other is supported so as to be floated from the housing 4 through damper 6, a coil 13 for receiving a low frequency current such as a voice signal is wound around one of both the magnetic substances, and a low frequency signal source is connected to the coil 13. Consequently the housing 4 can be thinned and strong vibration in the plane direction can be obtained.
