Abstract:

To provide a vibration cutter, performing high-accuracy vibration cutting by surely fixing the knife edge of a tool, and reducing loss of energy.

In this vibration cutter, a cutting tool 23 is not only fixed to the tip part 21a by a fixing screw 25 as a fastening member, but also the fixing screw 25 is prevented from being pulled out by the fixing screw 26 as a locking member, whereby the cutting tool 23 can be surely fixed to the tip part 21a of the tool part 21 to achieve low-loss vibration cutting with high accuracy. A root part 23e which is the fixed part of the cutting tool 23 is held and fixed between the head part 25a of the fixing screw 25 and the inner surface of the slit-like groove 32f, thereby fixing the cutting tool without looseness. Accordingly, high-accuracy vibration cutting can be achieved to reduce loss of energy in vibration cutting.
