Abstract:

To expand a turning angle enabling in predetermined torque in a specific area of a torsion damper characteristic line or to reduce a spring constant in the specific area.

In this vibration damping device 2, mutually coaxially arranged primary part 3 and secondary part 4 can rotate by being mutually relatively restricted in the peripheral direction, and are mutually connected by using a torque transmission means 5 and a shock absorbing connecting means 6, and the secondary part 4 can be at least indirectly connected to a transmission device input shaft 14. A ramp 8 joined at least indirectly to the secondary part 4, extends over a partial area of the secondary part in the peripheral direction, and is formed with a gradient of changing in the axial direction. The ramp 8 is also supported by a connection element 13 via a preload unit 11, and further acts on at least one corresponding element 9 and 9.1 shiftably supported in the axial direction.
