Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device which can restrain fine vibration under the clean atmosphere of high temperature.
SOLUTION: A weight 13 is suspended in an outer box 11 by the use of bar springs 12. The weight can vibrate in Z-axis direction. Supporting members are fitted to the lower part of the weight, and permanent magnets 14 are fixed to the supporting members so that the main plane is in parallel with YZ-plane. In the outer box, conductive plates 16 having main planes opposite to the main planes of the permanent magnets are fitted so as to be spaced from the permanent magnets by a specified distance.
