Title:
VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10196727
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To increase a vibration or noise reducing effect by causing, during relative rotation of flywheel members, first and second dampers to act against the relative rotation of the flywheel members in first and second angle ranges, and setting the rotational hardness of the second damper to be larger than that of the first damper.

When a flywheel element (F.E) 4 is rotated from its stop position against F.E 3, a flange 41 is driven via a bayonet joint and an outer spring 45 is compressed between circumferential stoppers 55 and 55a and a radial direction arm 44. Circumferential direction stoppers 65 and 66 are contacted with an inner spring 48 by its rotation and, when more relative rotation occurs between F.E 3 and 4, the spring 48 is compressed. In this case, the rotational hardness of a damper 14 including the spring 48 is set larger than that of a damper 13 including the spring 45. Then, by the friction of the spring 45 against the surfaces of sinus parts 52 and 53 and the friction of the flange 41 against a surface 60, a friction buffering action is produced.
