Title:
Vibration damping equipment for the bodies
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6069527
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A damping force change mechanism (70) includes an on-off valve (71) located in the through hole (65) of a piston rod (19). The on-off valve (71) opens/closes a third hydraulic oil passage (72) that allows a first oil chamber (36) on a free piston side and a second oil chamber (37) between a first piston (31) and a second piston (32) to communicate with each other. The on-off valve (71) includes an expanded diameter portion (74) extending in the first oil chamber (36) outward in the radial direction. The expanded diameter portion (74) is formed into a shape capable of facing the whole opening edge of the through hole (65) and tightly contacting an end face (19c) of the piston rod (19). The magnitude of a damping force can easily be changed, and a damping force characteristic in a case in which the damping force is large stabilizes.
