Abstract:
To provide a vibration damping structure of a new form that can secure the vibration damping performance as well as its light weight formation or the like.SOLUTION: A vibration damping structure of this invention is composed of a structure (S1) in which a single kind or plural kinds of solid grids (1) are connected three-dimensionally. The solid grid is composed of non-connected continuous members, and at least one of the solid grids has at least partially a filling pipe (11) having powder filled in a sealed pipe. The vibration damping performance can be easily secured if the powder is filled in the pipe in an uncompressed state. Such a vibration damping structure is manufactured, for example, by a powder lamination method. In this case, the pipe constituting the filling pipe has the same material as the powder. The vibration damping structure may be formed through combination of the solid grids as well as combination of the solid grid with either a solid cube or a hollow solid. It is preferable that these arrangements are adjusted in response to requirement specifications (such as vibration damping performance, strength and rigidity or the like) of each portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
